Important safety information for using the wood stove
The wood-burning stove in the stuga may be used during your stay and provides additional comfort and atmosphere. For safety reasons, we kindly ask you to follow the guidelines below when using the fireplace.
Please use the stove calmly and avoid overloading it. We recommend burning no more than three logs at a time and allowing the fire to burn down before adding more wood.
When emptying the stove, it is very important that ashes are never removed using a vacuum cleaner. Hot embers can remain in the ashes for a long time and may cause the vacuum cleaner to catch fire.
To clean the stove, simply use a small shovel or scoop to remove the ashes. This is sufficient and safe. Make sure ashes are fully cooled before disposal.
